Telehealth

Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment? Are you a busy stay-at-home or working parent, and don’t have the time to drive across town for an appointment? Do you live in a more rural area, or maybe you prefer to just do things Virtually? If so, we can help you through virtual therapy, or telehealth. Telehealth allows us to provide counseling and therapy to our clients via live video conferencing. This can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone.

Individual Therapy

Are you having a difficult time handling the struggles in your life? Could you use an expert opinion on what you’re going through, or a non-judgmental ear just to listen? Do you think you could benefit the most from individualized attention? Are you hesitant to talk to others about your problems? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then individual therapy could be the solution you’ve been seeking. Individual therapy differs from Group or Alternative therapy methods in the way that you are the sole focus of a single therapist who helps you develop and achieve your goals for therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT is a short-term, problem-focused form of behavioral treatment that helps people see the difference between beliefs, thoughts, and feelings, and free them from unhelpful patterns of behavior. CBT is grounded in the belief that it is a person’s perception of events – rather than the events themselves – that determines how he or she will feel and act in response. Most people with clearly defined behavioral and emotional concerns tend to reap the benefits of CBT. With CBT, you’ll be able to adjust the thoughts that directly influence your emotions and behavior.

Counseling for Anxiety

Anxiety can take many forms:

  • Constant overthinking

  • Racing thoughts

  • Physical tension or panic symptoms

  • Fear of failure

  • Avoidance behaviors

  • Perfectionism

  • Sleep difficulties

For students, anxiety may show up around academic performance or social situations. For professionals, it may appear as workplace stress, leadership pressure, or fear of underperforming.

In online anxiety therapy, we focus on:

  • Identifying anxiety cycles

  • Learning cognitive restructuring techniques

  • Building grounding and nervous system regulation skills

  • Increasing distress tolerance

  • Reducing avoidance patterns

  • Strengthening confidence and decision-making

The goal isn't to eliminate anxiety entirely - it's to reduce its control over your life.

Counseling for Trauma

Unprocessed trauma can influence how you relate to yourself, others, and the world. Trauma may stem from:

  • Childhood experiences

  • Relational wounds

  • Sudden loss

  • Accidents or medical events

  • Emotional neglect

  • Chronic stress environments

Trauma-informed telehealth therapy focuses on safety, stabilization, and gradual processing. We prioritize:

  • Emotional regulation

  • Identifying triggers

  • Developing grounding tools

  • Increasing self-compassion

  • Rebuilding a sense of internal safety

Healing from trauma is not about reliving pain - it's about reclaiming control and stability.

Life Transitions

Even positive changes can feel overwhelming.

Common adjustment concerns include:

  • Starting college

  • Graduating

  • Entering the workforce

  • Career shifts

  • Relocation

  • Relationship changes

  • Becoming a caregiver

  • Identity exploration

Adjustment therapy helps you:

  • Clarify your values

  • Reduce uncertainty-related anxiety

  • Build coping skills

  • Navigate transitions intentionally

Change does not have to mean chaos.

PTSD

Have you experienced a traumatic event? Are you suffering from lingering fear and anxiety? Do you feel like you no longer have any control over how you think, feel, and behave? Postt-raumatic stress disorder - also known as PTSD - is a mental health challenge that may occur in individuals who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event such as a natural disaster, a terrorist act, an act of war, a serious accident, rape, or any other violent personal assault. It is believed that PTSD affects nearly four percent of the U.S. adult population. While it is usually linked with veterans who’ve experienced combat, PTSD occurs in all people regardless of their age, race, nationality, or culture.

Social Anxiety Disorder Counseling

Do you experience intense anxiety or nervousness when faced with social situations? Do you fear being judged or criticized by others? Are you always worried about making mistakes, looking bad, or being embarrassed in front of others? If you answered yes to any of the above, you may have a social anxiety disorder. While it is normal to feel nervous in some social situations, people who experience daily social anxiety tend to avoid everyday interactions that cause them significant fear, anxiety, self-consciousness, and embarrassment because they fear being scrutinized or judged by others.

Therapy for Depression

Depression often feels heavier than sadness. It can include:

  • Low energy or fatigue

  • Loss of motivation

  • Emotional numbness

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Withdrawal from others

  • Hopeless or critical thoughts

Many high-achieving individuals silently struggle with depression while continuing to perform externally.

In therapy, we work to:

  • Identify contributing patterns

  • Re-engage with meaningful activities

  • Develop behavioral activation strategies

  • Challenge self-critical thinking

  • Build emotional awareness

  • Strengthen support systems

Depression is treatable - and you don't have to manage it alone.

Therapy for Self-Esteem

Do you suffer from anxiety or depression? Do you often feel awkward and self-conscious in social settings? Are you constantly comparing yourself to others and finding you never measure up? Self-esteem is a concept that speaks to how we feel about ourselves. When one has high self-esteem, they feel confident, centered, and worthy of love. People with low self-esteem often feel shame and self-doubt. They often feel critical of themselves and are unworthy of love or praise.

LGBTQIA+ Individual Therapy

Stigma-free, affirming, affordable therapy for LGBTQIA+ Individuals. Do you live outside of the heteronormative-cisgender box? Could you use a safe space to process your feelings and assess your goals? If you can relate to any of the above, then you’ve come to the right place.
